Our store has undergone DNA testing by the Okinawa Prefectural Livestock Improvement Association, a public interest incorporated association, and has been certified as a purebred Aguu pig, a cross between two native Ryukyu Agu pigs.In addition, the taste difference between the widely eaten Agu (a cross between Western-style pigs) and the cross between purebred Agu has been given the highest rating in a taste sensory evaluation conducted by Okinawa Prefecture in the "Reiwa 3 Okinawa Pork Consumption Revitalization Project."
